Ordering

How do I place an order? +

Browse our menu, add items to your cart, then choose pickup or delivery at checkout. You can also call us on +64 21 277 9279 to order by phone.

What are your opening hours? +

We're open Monday to Sunday, 3 PM – 9 PM. Orders must be placed before 8:30 PM to allow preparation time.

Can I customise my order? +

Yes! Add notes at checkout for spice level preferences, allergies, or special requests. We'll do our best to accommodate.

How far in advance can I order? +

We accept same-day orders only. For catering or large group orders, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance.

Delivery

Which areas do you deliver to? +

We deliver to Takanini, Papakura, Manurewa, Clendon Park, Flat Bush, and surrounding South Auckland suburbs. Not sure if we cover your area? Give us a call.

How much does delivery cost? +

Delivery is a flat $4.99 fee. The fee is calculated at checkout based on your address.

How long does delivery take? +

Typical delivery time is 30–50 minutes from order confirmation. You'll receive a notification when your order is on its way.

Can I pick up my order instead? +

Absolutely! Select 'Pickup' at checkout. Our kitchen is at 5 Walters Road, Takanini, Auckland 2110. We'll notify you when your order is ready.

Food & Kitchen

Is the food vegetarian? +

Yes — 100%. Tiffin N Treat is a completely vegetarian kitchen. We do not cook, store, or handle any meat products. Safe for vegetarians and most vegans.

Do you cater for vegans? +

Many of our dishes are vegan or can be made vegan (e.g. without ghee or dairy). Please mention your requirements in the order notes and we'll advise accordingly.

Do you use nuts or allergens? +

Some dishes may contain nuts, dairy, or gluten. If you have a severe allergy, please call us before ordering so we can guide you to safe options.

Is the food freshly made? +

Yes — everything is prepared fresh on the day. We don't use frozen pre-made products. You get genuine home-cooked food, made to order.

How spicy is the food? +

Our food is medium spiced by default — flavourful but not overwhelming. You can request mild or extra spicy in your order notes.

Tiffin Subscription

What is the tiffin service? +

Our tiffin service is a daily meal subscription — a complete fresh home-cooked meal (rotis, sabzi, dal, rice) delivered to your home or workplace every day. Perfect for working professionals and families.

What plans are available? +

We offer a Weekly Trial (from $85/week for 5 meals), a Monthly Plan (from $320/month for 22 meals), and a Family Plan (from $150/week for 3–4 people). Contact us for a personalised quote.

Can I cancel my tiffin subscription? +

Weekly plans have no lock-in — you can cancel any time before the next week starts. Monthly plans require 7 days notice for cancellation.

Can I customise my tiffin menu? +

Yes, especially on the Family Plan. Let us know your preferences (e.g. no onion/garlic, specific dishes you love) and we'll factor them into the weekly rotation.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept? +

We accept cash on pickup or delivery. Online card payment options are coming soon.

Do I pay before or after receiving my order? +

For pickup orders, payment is collected at the time of pickup. For deliveries, our driver will collect payment at the door.
